Intramural Program

The lifeblood of Council Rock Basketball is our robust intramural program. Our main intramural season takes place over the winter, running from approximately December through February. We have intramural programs for both boys and girls from second grade through twelfth grade. The amount of teams and grades offered varies each year depending on player demand.

Generally, in the winter, each team will have one practice and one game per week. All practices and games are played in schools in the Council Rock School District.

All of our intramural games follow our equal playing time rules in order to ensure that each player gets an equal opportunity to play in each game. Our intramural program is instructional first and designed to ensure our players can learn to play and enjoy the great game of basketball.

In addition to our winter season, we also offer spring and summer league games. For spring and summer, where the focus is on getting as many of our players as many game reps as we possibly can, there are no practices and instead we have two games per week.

The spring league is played indoors at schools throughout the Council Rock School District. Spring typically begins in late April and runs through early June.

Our summer league is an outdoor league that is played at either Northampton Municipal Park or Northampton Civic Center. Summer league begins in late June and typically runs through the first week in August.

In order to play in our Intramural league, players must be a resident of the Council Rock School district.
